Resident Opportunities The Housing Authority offers a variety of programs and opportunities for all families receiving assistance from the Fresno Housing Authorities. All activities are directed toward improving the quality of life for our residents by providing access to services designed to encourage self sufficiency and promote economic independence. The Resident Initiatives program offers ancillary services to families to assist them in overcoming socio-economic barriers that may prevent them from achieving economic independence. The Housing Authority has developed a variety of Scholarships and Programs to help address drug and crime problems and encourage families to achieve economic self sufficiency. The Home Buyer programs provide assistance to low income first time home buyers. The Construction Employment program provides opportunities for residents to work on Housing Authority complexes.
